About Portland Partnership

Portland Partnership is a specialist recruitment firm focused on the Practice Market across both Accountancy and Legal. We work with candidates at all levels, from pre-qualified professionals through to Partner appointments, supporting firms across the Northeast of England and the Central Belt of Scotland. What sets us apart is our deep understanding of the market not just the roles, but the context. We know where each firm fits within the broader business ecosystem and the clients they serve. But above all, we bring a human lens to recruitment: understanding that behind every move is a story. We help shape those stories at the right time, in the right way, for the right reasons ensuring moves make sense and careers move forward. Our mission is simple: to be valued advisors. To deliver quality and precision in everything we do. And to offer an unparalleled level of insight, honesty, and care to both clients and candidates. Founded by two recruiters with complementary backgrounds from international and in-house experience to long-standing success in the UK Practice market Portland was born out of a genuine passion for the space. We know this market inside out, and we back ourselves to deliver a level of service no one else can match.
