About PPM Industrial Water Services

PPM is a nationally recognized systems engineering firm specializing in the design, fabrication, and maintenance of fluid handling systems, industrial wastewater treatment systems, high-purity water systems, and custom industrial process solutions. As a UL 508A-certified control panel fabrication shop, we bring every component of your project — design, build, and ongoing support — under one roof. Founded in 1998 in Cambridge, MA, PPM has grown alongside one of the world's most dynamic life science ecosystems. The deep technical expertise we've developed serving that community, where precision and compliance are non-negotiable, is the same expertise we bring to every project, every time. Our multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, and field technicians brings an engineering-led approach to every engagement, balancing risk mitigation, system performance, and regulatory compliance from concept through commissioning. Our designs are informed by decades of hands-on experience operating, troubleshooting, and upgrading complex fluid-handling systems in real-world facilities, giving us a practical perspective that purely design-focused firms cannot match. What sets PPM apart: Single-source accountability across design, fabrication, and maintenance. Deep expertise in lab-grade high-purity water and compliant industrial wastewater treatment. In-house UL 508A control panel fabrication, reducing lead times and integration risk. Custom process solutions engineered to your facility's specific requirements. Lifecycle support that keeps your systems running at peak performance long after commissioning. We deliver fully packaged skid-mounted systems and modular configurations, engineered for streamlined logistics, simplified installation, and long-term maintainability.
