Prānarakshā - Conservation of Vitality is the core principle of Nature Cure Practice. Simply it can be interpreted as "Every Living Being (including Human) can Heal Itself (without any external aids/interference)." Hygienic Care represents our practice which is distinct from ongoing trend of Natural Therapeutics / Dietary practice. (Don't expect us to provide luxurious relaxing/ tonifying or palliative treatments or medicines, Because we don't at all!) The word 'Hygiene' is not limited to cleanliness, it's far beyond that. 'Hygiene' is derived from a Greek word "Hygiea" - meaning "the goddess of Health" and Hygiene means the Needs of Health. It's not too difficult to understand what are the needs of health if we understand Health - as the best state of life. If we fulfill the basic needs of life, life will be in its best state - we know it as Health. So, the basic needs of life are the only basic needs of Health which includes rest, exercise, food, fast, pure water, fresh air, temperature, sunlight, happiness, and simple lawful living. In case of disease, which is caused by deficiency/absence of any of these basic needs of life, instead of suppressing the symptoms by any means, we shall just provide whatever is demanded by the intelligence of supreme nature residing within our body. All these symptoms of diseases as we call it, are nothing but the efforts of our body for self preservation - survival. If we obidiently fulfill the demands of our body (both in health & disease) all the recuperating work; including elimination of morbid toxins, counter acting the harmful substances/germs, repairing of damages, and at the end accomodating with the need of time will be fulfilled.
