About PRDesi Cultural and Education Foundation

PRDesi Cultural & Educational Foundation is Puerto Rico's first nonprofit dedicated to celebrating and integrating the South Asian Desi community those with roots in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh into the broader Puerto Rican fabric. We bridge cultures by producing large-scale community events (including Holi, Diwali, and our annual Bollywood Fest), hosting educational workshops, and leading community service initiatives such as our annual toy drives. By partnering with local Puerto Rican nonprofits, government agencies, and community groups, we tackle shared challenges and create shared joy. PRDesi is a registered 1101.01(a)(2) tax-exempt organization in Puerto Rico and qualifies under Act 60 for eligible charitable contributions.
