About PreciLabs

Innovative Optical Encoder Solutions for the Humanoid Era PreciLabs is a Swiss private company specializing in precision sensing for the robotics and humanoid industries. We redefine absolute position measurement with a patented sensing platform architected at the silicon level to solve the most critical challenges in motion control. Zero Calibration. Instant Precision: Our patented 2D absolute encoders eliminate the need for factory and system calibration, providing high-fidelity sensing from the moment of power-on. Sub-Micron Accuracy: We deliver sub-micron precision across every joint and every axis, ensuring reliability in high-speed robotics joints and nanometer-class metrology alike. Silicon-Level Robustness: We didn't just mitigate mechanical backlash, calibration drift, and contamination; we architected them out at the silicon level to ensure immunity to environmental challenges.
