About PreferCare

PreferCare partners with independent physician groups to support their efforts in successful value-based care. We provide staff, technology, data & analytics, and capital needed to invest in resources physicians need. Importantly, we are a partner, not a vendor. We work side by side with our physician partners to solve important and unique dynamics in their practices and in their communities. We believe that through these successful partnerships, together, we can innovate how healthcare is delivered and experienced in communities. We help reduce costs, improve outcomes, increase access, and close health equity gaps. PreferCare is led by a veteran team of healthcare executives with deep experience broadly across the functional areas necessary to build successful companies, products, and partnerships.

Founded in 2021 by Jonathan Weiner, Lauren Walters, Mary Flipse and Naji Abumrad.
