About Preformed Windings

Preformed Windings is obsessed with Quality. Based in Sheffield, UK, we have more than 55 years’ experience delivering the highest-quality high-voltage diamond coils and bars for motors and generators. As an independent product specialist, we do not compete with service organisations, instead supporting their growth strategies. We serve a global client base from a wide range of industries, including power generation, water, transport, and shipping. While operating out of the UK, the majority of our products are shipped to a global base of partners, including the most respected OEMs and service companies in the world. We are the supplier of choice when quality is key. We have built a reputation for having the highest-quality coils and bars in the world, which improve the performance and life of assets while reducing maintenance requirements.
