About Preton Ltd

Preton provides enterprise software for print security, print archiving, toner optimization, and print management—helping organizations protect sensitive printed information, reduce print costs, and improve visibility across the print environment. Since 2005, Preton has helped organizations enforce print policies, reduce waste, and strengthen compliance in regulated industries including financial services, healthcare, government, and defense. Preton Print Security™ scans and archives print jobs to detect policy-defined rules (keywords/data patterns), alert the right stakeholders, and support auditing and forensic investigation through a searchable archive—helping prevent print-related data leakage and strengthen compliance workflows. PretonSaver™ reduces toner and ink consumption using patented Pixel Optimizer™ technology that removes unnecessary/overlapping pixels while maintaining print quality. With centralized rules, reporting, and mapping of printers/users/apps, organizations gain measurable savings and tighter control of printing at scale.
