Those are: Network Builders – Connecting communities through initiatives like Handle with Care and the ND Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Network In 2025, educated and engaged 400+ professionals on Handle with Care and Period of PURPLE Crying, strengthening cross-sector collaboration and building resilient support networks for families and communities. Policy Shapers – Leading advocacy efforts across all levels of government to ensure child safety, expand access to resources, and strengthen family support systems Advanced child safety through policy advocacy: guided schools in trauma-informed practices, educated legislators on AI-related risks and online safety provisions, and equipped childcare providers with actionable policy recommendations to protect children. Community Educators – Delivering prevention programs like Understanding and Nurturing Healthy Sexual Development and Mandated Reporter Training statewide 11, 568 ND professionals took the mandated reporter and an additional 1,500+ individuals received training on Connections Matter, Child Sexual Abuse: Prevention is Possible and many others. Family Supporters – Providing resources and guidance before crisis occurs In 2025, 173 children and families received a home visit from our MIECHV program.
