About Professional Engineer Balance Lab, LLC

Established in 1978, PEBL has a long history of providing professional HVAC consulting services. Although based in San Antonio, we provide services all over Texas and have the resources to extend our services to the entire United States. PEBL is an independent agency, not affiliated or associated with any other contractor or trade. We are highly experienced in performing an array of services to thoroughly assess and correct the performance characteristics of any HVAC system. Why Choose PEBL? We require that our field supervisors have engineering degrees from accredited universities. Our field teams not only understand the design engineer’s intent, but can also quickly find solutions to complex problems in the operation or installation of a system. We pride ourselves upon our abilities to be cost-effective and resolve problems in a timely manner. Why do I need TAB and Commissioning? Every year, HVAC design becomes more and more complex. Today’s designs fully embrace the emerging technologies in digital controls, refrigerant compositions and equipment design, and provide solutions to increasing standards for indoor air quality and comfort expectations. With these technologies comes the ability to design and install systems that are far more efficient and functional than systems of even a few years ago. Also with these technologies comes the need to ensure the systems are fully functional and operational. Without qualified and experienced professionals to verify correct interaction and operation of the components, sub-systems, and controls, installation and operational deficiencies will result. These problems often result in a costly HVAC system that is less efficient than those of twenty years ago. As a professional HVAC consultant, our highly qualified staff fine-tunes the installed HVAC system, resulting in a system that operates as efficiently and effectively as possible.
