About Progressive Therapy of NJ

Services | Careers, Professional Growth & School-Based ABA (New Jersey) Progressive Therapy of New Jersey (PTNJ) is a New Jersey–based, school-focused Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) organization delivering high-quality, ethical behavioral services while building supported, sustainable careers for clinicians. Founded in 2003 by Board Certified Behavior Analyst Alexis Higgins-Battaglia, PTNJ provides evidence-based ABA services to children and adults across New Jersey. Our work focuses on developing meaningful language, social, adaptive, and functional skills that support success in schools, homes, and communities. What sets PTNJ apart is our people-first culture. We believe the quality of care we provide begins with how well we support our team. Clinicians are valued members of a collaborative professional community where growth, well-being, and development matter. PTNJ delivers school-based ABA services throughout New Jersey, emphasizing real-world application, behavioral assessment and intervention planning, environmental and performance analysis, and collaboration with educators and multidisciplinary teams. Professional growth at PTNJ is intentional and ongoing. We provide weekly training, hands-on mentorship, collaboration and guidance from experienced BCBAs. Clinicians are supported at every stage of their career—from early development to senior and leadership roles—through mentorship, training facilitation, and systems-level collaboration. Progressive Therapy of New Jersey (PTNJ) is more than a place to work—it’s a place to build a career, grow as a professional, and make meaningful impact across New Jersey. If you’re seeking school-based ABA work with real support and room to grow, we would love the opportunity to connect!
