About Project Mumbai

Environment, Governance, Healthcare (Mental Health), Mobility, Education are just some of the areas Project Mumbai is engaged in--working closely and directly with citizens, engaging and partnering with governments and policy makers and collaborating with like minded private and social sector leaders. In four years since 2018, when it was founded, Project Mumbai has directly impacted over One crore plus lives, through 200 and more partners implementing over hundred initiatives and its next big initiative is to make Mumbai inclusive--for the differently abled and neuro diverse. For its work thus far, Project Mumbai has been the recipient of a diverse set of over 15 awards, including being recognised by the United Nations SDG (for its COVID relief) , the International Advertising Association (for its environmental impact), by iVolunteer (for its volunteering initiative) and Glenmark (for its nutrition work) apart from being featured in the Limca Book of Records twice. Project Mumbai goes by the tag line Mumbai Ke Liye Kuchh bhi Karega, which is a subtle call to action urging citizens to take popular ownership of the city through participation and is working to Make Mumbai the Kindness Capital of India.
