About Promethean Energy

Promethean is an oil & gas operator with an integrated approach to the development, production, and ultimate decommissioning of mature assets OUR VISION Our vision is to help meet growing energy demand and enable an Orderly Energy Transition by producing readily available, secure, low-cost and low-carbon oil & gas, produced to high ESG standards with minimal environmental footprint. OUR MISSION We develop, produce and decommission mid- to late-life oil & gas assets in a cost-effective and environmentally sustainable manner, thereby helping the world and the oil industry transition to a low-carbon era. WHAT WE DELIVER Low cost of supply, low GHG emissions/ intensity, and a small environmental footprint while extending the life of the assets. HOW WE DO IT Via an integrated application of technologies, risk management, data and best practices. OUR THESIS Promethean’s thesis is primarily driven by the market opportunity created by the exit of U.S. independents from the Gulf of Mexico, which is recognized as a cost- and carbon-advantaged oil & gas basin. Significant development upside can be captured with the application of capital, technology and best practices to a deep inventory of underdeveloped, low-risk mid- to late-life assets. This creates the opportunity to build a pioneering, disruptive, transition-era, material Development & Production company, uniquely positioned to aggregate assets in the GoM. OUR STRATEGY SELECT: Producing assets in the GoM with infrastructure and development upside OPTIMIZE: Deliver integration of data, technologies and best practices ENHANCE: Execute staged development model with minimal capex EXTEND: Capture value via near-term optimization and enhancement of discovered resources
