ProMinent North America is a subsidiary of ProMinent GmbH, a German company that invented the solenoid metering pump in the 1960’s. ProMinent is a leader in providing water treatment solutions for various industries through innovative products, a distinctive and long-term understanding of processes, and deep application knowledge. ProMinent has been in North America since the late 1970’s with primary facilities in Pittsburgh, PA and in Guelph, Ontario. Our 300+ employees are essential to supporting our customers with in-house capabilities that include custom system engineering and design, fabrication, component and sensor manufacturing, bench testing, and full system certification. We are a global manufacturer of chemical metering pumps and water treatment systems, process instrumentation, dry feed and liquid polymer preparation and activation, disinfection equipment, and custom-engineered solutions. Our extensive product portfolio provides our customers solutions in industries including Chemical, Industrial & Municipal Water Treatment, Food & Beverage, Swimming Pool & Aquatics, Oil & Gas, Utilities, and many more.
