About PROTEX Research Framework

PROTEX is a research project examining how AI systems behave inside organisational environments — particularly when they interact with structured knowledge, operational procedures, and decision responsibility. The project focuses on how knowledge can be prepared, structured, and constrained so that AI systems operate within defined boundaries rather than generating uncontrolled outputs. This includes work on: – structured knowledge architectures – procedural AI systems – controlled retrieval systems – decision boundaries and responsibility models The research is applied in real-world environments, including domains such as behavioural analysis, hospitality operations, and structured decision support. PROTEX does not aim to automate judgement, generate predictions, or replace human decision-making. It explores how AI systems can be designed to support decisions while preserving control, accountability, and clarity of responsibility. This is not a product — it is an ongoing research system and implementation framework.
