About PROVOLT

Provolt is a California-based consulting and procurement firm with East Coast roots and a national footprint. We've supported renewable energy projects in over 22 U.S. states, offering deep technical expertise, practical execution, and a one-stop model that spans interconnection, power systems engineering, procurement, and field-side support. We are not an EPC or installer. We operate as your embedded technical partner — bridging the gap between developers, utilities, and project execution. Our scope includes utility application strategy, LV/MV/HV system design, permitting, and procurement of key systems such as switchboards, grounding transformers, energy storage enclosures, metering cabinets, and auxiliary power solutions. Our team draws from both utility-side and developer-side experience. We’ve worked across diverse regulatory environments — with utilities including LADWP, PG&E, SCE, Con Edison, NYSEG, ISO-NE, NYISO, ERCOT, HECO, and many others. We understand the technical language, approval pathways, and interconnection pain points developers face. On the procurement side, we source equipment from vetted global manufacturers such as Tesla, Powin, Clou, Eaton, Siemens, ABB, and more — representing a robust network across 40+ countries. This gives our clients schedule flexibility, tariff resilience, and price competitiveness in rapidly changing sourcing environments. Our core team blends seasoned industry veterans and rising talent trained through Provolt Academy — a mentorship-based technical program led by Mahir Derman and senior experts. We also leverage a national network of independent professionals, each with 10+ years of experience in their domain. If you need one partner to help plan it, design it, source it, and support it — Provolt is built for that.
