About PT Taksu Kirana

Taksu Wana Prastha Spa – “Spirit of the River and the Forest” - is conceived and crafted as Bali’s first synergistic Body-Mind-Spirit sanctuary. The atmosphere is timeless while the services and amenities are completely modern, embracing and integrating the best of ancient and modern therapies and tools, in holistic and ecologically aware programs. Taksu Spa is located only 5 minutes from Ubud's many fine restaurants, galleries, museums, temples, and shops. The serene natural surroundings transport you away from the hustle and bustle of modern Bali back to a quieter, gentler time where the internationally trained staff guides you through their many services at an elegant and unhurried pace. A lush rainforest pathway leads to upper valley view platforms while stone steps flanked by cascading water descend to river view pavilions where Thai massage, reflexology, and other bodywork services are offered during the day. In the evening these pavilions transform into romantic and magical dinner spaces where a 4-8 course prix fixe “Taste of Taksu” gourmet tasting menu is prepared each day by the executive chef. Exotic organic fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, and flowers are all sourced from Taksu’s organic garden for the restaurants. The main day spa offer world-class services in private rooms and spa villas with both indoor and outdoor baths. Aromatherapy sauna, steam room, thermal mud baths, hydrotherapy, and yoga are part of day spa programs, which include an organic lunch and complimentary beverages. Taksu Spa introduces Bali’s first Brain/Mind salon with state-of-the-art brainwave equipment, light and sound therapies, and one of the largest collections of crystal singing bowls in Asia. Summer 2010 begins Taksu Spa’s individually personalized services: skin analysis, nutritional and energetic consultation, custom formulated natural products and health and aesthetic programs tailored to personal needs and requirements.
