About Qavah Ministries

At Qavah Ministries, we are dedicated to inspiring, equipping, and mobilizing churches to care for the temporary widows and orphans of the incarcerated. Rooted in faith and born out of firsthand experience, we believe that every church has the potential to be a source of hope, healing, and community for families impacted by incarceration. Through our Hope in the Waiting initiative, we provide practical tools, resources, and training to help churches adapt their existing ministries to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of these families. Our mission is to transform prison ministry from a distant outreach to an active, compassionate engagement within the church community. We know that when churches step into this space, lives are changed—not just those we serve, but the entire church body grows in unity, purpose, and love. What We Offer: • Six-week mobilization crash courses for churches (available virtually or in-person). • Training and resources for church leaders and volunteers. • Guidance on adapting current ministries to support families affected by incarceration. • Opportunities to partner in creating long-term, sustainable change. Join Us: Whether you’re a church leader, a volunteer, or someone passionate about making a difference, we invite you to partner with us in this vital work. Together, we can bring hope to families in their time of waiting and fulfill the call to care for the least of these.
