About Quantum Flowers & Foods
Quantum Flowers & Foods (QFF) is a Japanese Series A deep-tech company transforming how new biological solutions are discovered and developed. Since launching our neutron breeding service in 2022, QFF has worked with global partners to address major challenges including plastic waste pollution, bioenergy production, biomeat, industrial biotechnology, and indoor vertical farming. Our mission is to help innovators unlock better-performing biological systems, faster. QFF offers the world’s first commercial neutron breeding service, enabling rapid and unbiased generation of novel traits in plants and microorganisms. By creating broad genetic diversity without genetic modification (non-GMO), our globally compliant approach allows customers to explore new performance space, accelerate R&D timelines, and uncover phenotypes that are difficult to achieve using conventional methods. We collaborate closely with leading industrial and academic partners, including Novozymes Japan, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, and The University of Tokyo, alongside particle accelerator facilities such as J-PARC. Whether the goal is sustainability, productivity, or discovery, QFF enables customers to move beyond incremental improvement and into new biological possibilities.
