Qubi is a unique digital app, payments, and advertising platform, that creates a new, closed-loop network for consumer payments and rewards. Leveraging patent-pending geotargeting, rewards, augmented reality, and gamification features, Qubi can be used to super-charge existing merchant networks by leveraging AI to seamlessly deliver hyper-customized and localized rewards that can change in real-time to drive foot traffic to physical businesses. Qubi essentially provides new advertising power to physical merchants using existing payment options, as it is fully integrated into bank and credit card networks. It also has the potential to disrupt existing payment networks by reducing interchange rates and bypassing credit cards. Qubi’s corporate partners could be a merchant-acquiring bank network, a credit card network, or an advertising network such as Google, Facebook, Yelp, or other online communities. For a credit card issuer with merchant partners, Qubi can create a white-label network opportunity, where only their preferred payment options are enabled. Plus, any network owner would have the ability to impact interchange rates by allowing payments without credit cards, leveraging Qubi’s P2P payment capabilities, or direct debit from a linked bank account. It can also create super-campaigns and administer rewards at a network level to support viral concepts such as random “jackpot“ rewards that would encourage consumer downloads and activations. The P2P opportunity will also lead to opportunities for the acquisition of low-cost deposits. Qubi has the ultimate ability to engage broad swaths of merchants and consumers, and potentially disintermediate existing channels.
