About Queen's College Boys' Primary School

Queen’s College has been a place where all students in the Eastern Cape and beyond, can call home as it celebrates and embraces ethnic and cultural diversity. Nestled in the heart of the Eastern Cape, amidst the Hangklip, Longhill and Madeira Mountains, Queen's College Boys' Primary School has been an independent institution for the past 65 years. It is separate but shares the uniform, badge, spirit and the wonderful traditions of their big brother school, Queen's College and of which we are so justifiably proud. The academic standards are high and are reinforced by the dedication of the staff that is committed to the boys and the school. The traditions are founded on the sport and cultural opportunities that abound, but the emphasis is placed on character-building. Queenians never give up and this can be seen as they compete against their traditional rival schools, like Dale and Selborne. Each boy is regarded as a unique blend of talents and virtues which we strive to develop and enhance. Discipline, courtesy and loyalty are the order of the day and the boys are taught to live up to the school motto "Esse Quam Videri", to be rather than to seem to be.
