About Queensland African Communities Council

The Queensland African Communities Council (QACC) is a peak organization for African communities in Queensland. Their mission is to unite African communities, irrespective of their backgrounds, and support their full participation in Australian society. QACC represents over 80,000 African individuals and communities throughout Queensland. QACC engages the community through vibrant events, meaningful initiatives, and empowering programs, such as Africa Day, AFCON QLD, AfriQueensland Awards, Mandela Cup, Assembly of African Community Representatives, and the African Youth Support Council (AYSC). QACC also acknowledges the traditional owners of the lands where they work and live.
