About Queer Lisbon Tour

We share Portugal's history through a queer lens on our walking tours. We focus on researching sexual homogeneity, legislative advances on LGBTQ+ rights, indigenous sexualities, and the cultural effects of 40 years of dictatorship. We delve into the role of gender and sexuality in building the imperial enterprise and examine how Portugal addresses these issues today.
