In QVC Japan, 1,500 professional team members are working at the head office in Kaihin Makuhari, Chiba City, and at the distribution center in Sakura City, both in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Our competitive operating model is based on the “One-stop operation” where processes from purchasing to shipping are carried out internally. All functions from buying, broadcasting, customer contact, Ecommerce, shipping to creative processes such as programming, planning/creating of shows, web design and copywriting are performed in-house. Professionals from different fields provide a compelling shopping experience to our customers from various angles. This operating model has been implemented in all of our global sites to enhance QVC’s brand credibility and to offer better products to our customers efficiently.
