About RAL Architects

We are a RIBA Chartered architectural practice based in Southport, delivering thoughtful, sustainable design across residential, commercial, retail, and leisure projects. Our team provides full architectural services, from early site appraisals and feasibility studies through to planning, detailed design, and contract administration - tailoring each stage to suit your brief, budget, and site constraints. We specialise in: • Residential architecture - bespoke homes to multi-unit developments • Golf club architecture - including new clubhouses, refurbishments, and phased improvements • Commercial and retail design - balancing functionality with strong placemaking • Public realm and civic projects - often working in close partnership with local authorities We prioritise sustainability through practical, cost-effective strategies: careful orientation, long-life materials, and design solutions that reduce environmental impact while improving long-term performance. Above all, we design buildings that respond to their surroundings, shaped by purpose and place.
