Energy Modeling and Building Evaluation The largest efficiency improvements of a building come in the design stage, through the proper evaluation of a building’s energy requirements using an energy model. REAL uses this tool to evaluate and compare design decisions, helping the Owner and Design/Build team properly gauge what decisions most effect their building’s performance—whether it be building orientation, window positioning/sizing, glazing, construction techniques, materials choices and operation scheduling. Energy Audits and Retrofit Planning Our team of experts can help a building owner, operator or developer evaluate a building’s current energy inefficiencies and make recommendations on how to best improve energy efficiency, comfort, health and safety for your building—no matter how small or large, whether it’s Residential, Commercial or Industrial.
