About Reclama
Reclama is an outdoor wellness company creating reflective, nature-based experiences for women of color. Founded by journalist and storyteller Cindy Y. Rodriguez, Reclama blends guided walks, journaling, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed facilitation to help participants reconnect with themselves, their bodies, and the outdoors. Since launching, Reclama has facilitated 100+ guided outdoor experiences and served nearly 1,000 women of color through nature-based programming. Our work centers cultural memory, community care, and access to nature as a form of restoration and empowerment. Reclama partners with colleges, universities, corporations, and community organizations to deliver experiential programs aligned with Earth Day, Mental Health Awareness Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, and year-round well-being initiatives. Offerings include guided grounding workshops, reflective nature walks, journaling experiences, leadership retreats, and custom campus and community programming. Reclama has facilitated programs in partnership with Montclair State University, the University of Michigan, REI, and the New York State Mentoring Program. We believe nature is not a luxury. It is a right. To collaborate or bring a program to your campus or organization, connect with us.
