Redbrick LMD is a diversified real estate investment management and development firm focusing on proprietary, large-scale, institutional quality assets. With an objective of value creation and risk mitigation, we employ an innovative and forward-looking approach to sustainability and resiliency, such as pioneering a strategy in the U.S. to decarbonize real estate and developing resilient solutions for national-security related initiatives. Our focus on the Washington DC metropolitan region, while working closely with several government agencies, has created unique opportunities, locally and nationally, for Redbrick to develop multiple mixed-use multifamily, commercial, industrial, and defense-related projects in strategic locations. As one of the largest private landowners in DC, we have a build-to-core development pipeline of approximately eight million square feet at a cost of $5 billion and a comparable amount in early-stage development located across the country. We delivered the largest multifamily building in the world to seek International Living Future Institute (ILFI) Zero Carbon certification, and our pipeline includes 10 buildings under development or construction that are designed to achieve the same certification. As long-term owners and stewards of our own and other’s capital, the cornerstone of our approach to optimize investor returns is aligning stakeholder interests, inventive problem solving, a relentless focus on future-proofing our investments, and a demonstrated agility to capture emerging opportunities.
