About Reel Guppy Outdoors

We take youth and families fishing for FREE. Our mission is to provide a positive environment and program for youth using outdoor adventures emphasizing education, life building lessons, leadership, stewardship, and team building. We seek to empower our participants with education and skills to responsibly enjoy our waters and beaches. By offering a family-oriented outdoor activity and removing barriers to participation, our program is instilling an appreciation for California’s natural resources and modeling hands-on stewardship. Our interactive curriculum develops teamwork, confidence, self-motivation, an understanding of ecosystems, and responsible angling for sustainable fisheries. Participating youth experience everything hands-on while parents are equipped with fishing know-how so they can confidently take their family to “catch a memory” together while actively protecting the coastal environment outside of the fishing trips and beach clean-ups we coordinate and supervise.
