ReelGood Film Festival jobs and careers
About ReelGood Film Festival
Founded in 2014 by John Roebuck, The ReelGood Film Festival started as a small gathering of friends to celebrate eachothers films. It was a night of laughter, popcorn, and good company. Over its formative years, RGFF grew from this small night of short films to a full-blown day of festivities with DJs and foodtrucks and a late-night afterparty. Much of the festival's success is attributed to its unique format: snappy 25-minute sessions followed by a 35-minute break giving you a chance to grab a fresh beer, some food and debate the films with friends. Since day one, RGFF’s mission has been to support Australian filmmakers, and each year showcases 20-25 short films from some of the country's most talented and upcoming filmmakers. In 2021, John Roebuck passed the baton to RGFF filmmaker alumni Jacintho Muiños who brought flair and style to the festival, and since 2023, we have welcomed our new festival director Chris Luscri. Chris is a film producer and seasoned program director and brings a unique curatorial eye to RGFF.
