About Reemprise Fund

We practice venture philanthropy through relationships with emerging organizations serving historically marginalized communities in Charlotte. We spend time early, getting to know leaders, understanding their ideas, and walking alongside them as their organizations take shape. As those relationships deepen, so does our involvement, bringing time, experience, and capital to help build strong, resilient organizations. Much of this work happens before a formal investment is ever made. Over two decades, we’ve learned that meaningful impact doesn’t come from transactions. It comes from trust, proximity, and staying engaged long enough to see something take hold. Most relationships with Reemprise begin simply, with a conversation, which is usually over breakfast.
