About Refugees Welcome North Somerset

Since 2017, we’ve befriended families and displaced people arriving from Syria, Afghanistan and Ukraine. Our work includes: - Rehoming – preparing secure, comfortable accommodation for displaced people in the South West - Befriending – our companionship service welcomes new arrivals and helps people settle into the area - Welcome Cafe – a weekly social event in Weston-Super-Mare for resettled refugees and newly arrived individuals - Campaigning and fundraising – wider activities that support those in need of a safe place to go
