Today, Mr. Regin’s cashew nut processing business is the largest in the region with 43 units spread across the town, providing income to over 900 employees. He is ably supported by his wife and partner Ms. T. Ani Chandrakala, who holds the fort, when he is travelling pursuing his expansion plans and extending the market reach. The Rs. 250 crore enterprise is ready to propel into the higher orbit. There are some ambitious plans in the anvil and Regin intends to penetrate the domestic and international market with its own brand of cashew nuts very soon.
