About Regional Design Service

On December 23, 2023 Regional Design Service permanently closed its Corowa Studio. We continue to advocate for change. Follow our progress here: Aaron: https://lnkd.in/gFW8kGXt Phillip: https://lnkd.in/gCX39-nQ We’re driven to cultivate community awareness of design and how it can enrich all facets of rural and regional life. We approach all our work with an unwavering belief that regional communities should benefit from the same quality design as city dwellers. Design Director Phillip Nielsen is a Registered Architect in NSW, Victoria and Queensland with a unique, collaborative style which spans many disciplines and project types. An avid believer in hand-drawn sketches to build ideas, Phillip has worked in large and small practices across Australia and is often called upon to review the work of peers as part of his connection to respected industry editorials - an immense privilege in itself. Director of Business Aaron Nicholls was born locally and has regional family ties stretching back as far as 1860. Aaron brings to the team extensive industry experience in Business Development, Project, Client, Product and Brand Management, working in the Architecture & Design industry both here and abroad. The Regional Design Service brand is supported by passionate and professional team members, and we feel being 'on the ground' for rural and regional clients of all scales and types to be a distinct advantage - and often results in reduced projects costs, increased long-term community engagement and well-resolved design outcomes. Regional Design Service is a proud A+ member of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects.
