About Renton Historical Society

Renton Historical Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of over 45,000 of Renton’s most precious artifacts. Our collection consists of a wide variety of objects including photos, books, textiles, and machinery. Each item within the collection captures a glimpse into the lives of those who shaped the history of Renton. People whose footprints define the path we walk today. The Renton Historical Society preserves and illuminates our community’s history to inform an inclusive and connected future that captures the diversity of experiences upon which Renton’s foundation is built.
