About Renversons Dance

Founded in 2025 by Artistic Director Minnie Lane, Renversons reimagines what a ballet company can be. Renversons was born from the question, What if a freelance-based ballet company didn’t rely on exploitation to survive? Renversons centers care, transparency, and mutual respect in all aspects of our work. We believe that when artists are supported, the work itself becomes more honest, more impactful, and more alive. We are gearing up for our inaugural season at New York Live Arts on April 3rd and 4th, 2026. We also offer free open ballet classes to freelance dancers in New York City.
