About Republican Communications Association

Nearly five decades ago, the Republican Communications Association (RCA) was founded by former Congressman Bob Walker of Pennsylvania as an outlet for press secretaries to meet and share ideas. Today, we are Capitol Hill's professional organization of Republican communicators, offering a year-round schedule of activities, including luncheons with notable guest speakers, media networking opportunities, and a job bank. The RCA membership consists of a wide network of professionals who work in a diverse range of communications positions. Events sponsored by RCA provide opportunities to meet and learn from hundreds of others who work in communications on the Hill and in Washington, D.C. RCA is an officially recognized staff association in the U.S. House of Representatives.
