The Resource Center, for Nonviolence, located in Santa Cruz, California, is a pioneering nonprofit organization, dedicated to promoting peace and social justice through the principles and practices of non-violent action. Since our inception in 1976, RCNV has been at the forefront of advocating for systemic change, both locally and globally, embodying the ethos of nonviolence champions by liters like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. At RCNV, we are committed to fostering a world where non-violence is not just a method of protest, but a foundational principle of societal interaction. Our mission is to educate, inspire, and mobilize, individuals and communities to actively engage in the struggle for peace and justice. We believe in the transformative power of non-violence to create a more equitable and compassionate world. Our work encompasses, a diverse range of Programs, and Initiatives and at addressing the root causes of violence and injustice. We organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions on non-violent conflict resolution, social justice advocacy, and community building.
