I have faced downsizing, layoffs, startups, and company closures as a company representative - and one of the laid off employees. Each forced me to make a change in my career journey. Once I had the opportunity to work with a Career Transition Consultant who helped me with targeting a job, developing an appropriate resume, learning how to network for a job, practicing for interviews and even negotiating offers with potential employers. The consultant worked with me, individually, and I found my next, and best fit job. And I loved the process! Years later, the outplacement firm asked me to conduct training for displaced workers, and then to coach downsized employees as a Career Transition Consultant. --- And I found my career niche. So with 35 years in HR, I help align HR policies & procedures, train & develop the workforce and solve individual employer challenges. And with a love for helping people help themselves, I help individuals capitalize on their career.
