Retina Consultants, P.C. is the largest retinal referral practice in Connecticut and one of the largest in New England. Established in 1985, the group is now comprised of seven retinal specialists, all of whom trained extensively in the field of vitreo-retinal eye diseases, and provide comprehensive care of all medical and surgical retinal diseases. All five of our offices are equipped with state-of-the-art technology for the diagnosis and treatment of retinal disorders. Our staff of over 70 highly trained personnel are dedicated to providing the best possible service to our patients. We are available to our patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. At Retina Consultants, we do everything we can to make your visit a pleasant one while providing you with the highest quality of professional medical care. The doctors at Retina Consultants are consulting physicians. That means that all of our patients have been referred to us by other doctors with great confidence in the expertise and skills of the entire Retina Consultants staff. As consulting physicians, we work closely with your doctor to provide you with state-of-the-art eye care. Our team of retinal specialists is especially qualified to diagnose and treat diseases of the retina and vitreous, diabetic retinopathy, ocular trauma, macular degeneration, and other systemic diseases and conditions that affect the eye. When it comes to specialized retinal care, immediate attention can prevent a treatable problem from becoming a tragedy. That is why we are available to our patients 24 hours a day, every day of the year. If your regular eye doctor feels that you are in a sight-threatening condition, we will do everything we can to see you right away.
