About RGC Rick Gilchrist Co., Inc.
RGC designs, engineers, fabricates, and erects fully integrated Cold‑Formed Steel Structural Systems. The firm operates early in the life of complex buildings, resolving design challenges and carrying responsibility for both vertical and horizontal Load‑Bearing Systems — walls and floors — as a single, coordinated structure. Structural outcomes are determined long before fabrication begins. RGC’s in-house engineers analyze gravity and lateral loading, shear, and system behavior, designing every panel and component with exacting detail. Floor systems are selected and designed based on the structural and delivery requirements of each project — not a predetermined preference — and may incorporate cold‑formed steel, composite systems, and structural steel components as required. Components are manufactured to strict tolerances, assembled into erection‑sequenced panels, and carried floor by floor through structural completion. This work demands precision across Design, Engineering, Fabrication, sequencing, and field execution. Concrete flatness, bearing conditions, shoring, and temporary stability are not assumptions — they are verified, engineered, and documented. Structural decisions also shape the performance of downstream assemblies, including sheathing, envelope interfaces, inspection sequencing, and other conditions that determine how the building performs and comes together. The result is a Structural System that performs predictably and advances projects earlier than anticipated. RGC is Veteran Owned. Steel doesn’t make decisions. Systems do.
