About Richmond Montessori School

For more than a century, Dr. Maria Montessori’s educational philosophy has provided children with an approach to learning that respects their natural development, nurtures curiosity, and fosters independence. At Richmond Montessori School (RMS), we have spent the last 50+ years perfecting this model—refining it to meet the needs of today’s children while staying true to the principles that make it so effective.
