About Richmond West Primary School

Positioned in Melbourne’s vibrant inner east, Richmond West Primary School is a bold, bilingual hub where more than 280 students, speaking over 28 different languages, learn, lead and thrive together. Our dedicated teachers work collaboratively across English, Mandarin and Vietnamese pathways to deliver high-quality, cohesive learning experiences, grounded in consistency and care. At RWPS, diversity isn’t just something we celebrate, it’s the heartbeat of who we are. We foster belonging, build resilience and champion personal success in every child. Here, students are seen, supported and empowered, whether they’re mastering a second language, driving change or simply discovering the power of their own voice in a community that truly includes everyone.
