About Rise Martial Arts Pflugerville

Rise to Your Best. We’re a family-run martial arts school in Pflugerville serving Round Rock and North Austin since 1999. Training blends a karate–taekwondo hybrid with structured character development through our Warrior Keys—six life skills taught in sequence: Goals, Discipline, Determination, Courage, Confidence, Respect. Students don’t just learn techniques; they build habits that show up at home, at school, at work, and under pressure. What makes us different • Warrior Keys in every class (age-right language, clear milestones) • No-fee belt testings—progress is earned, not paid for • Skill Cards for every student—visible goals, honest feedback, steady momentum • Safety-first coaching, progressive contact, and a respectful culture Programs • Pre-K (4–5): playful structure, short drills, big wins • Kids (6–11): skill, focus, and confidence with visible micro-wins • Teens: sharper technique, conditioning, leadership reps, real-world self-management • Adults: practical striking, mobility, stress relief, and community—beginner friendly • Warrior Program (7+): invitation-only advanced track with progressive sparring and added coaching/leadership • Sport Karate / Competition Team: forms, weapons, and point sparring with protective gear, ring etiquette, and the Warrior Keys guiding every round How we coach Short, focused classes. Clear demonstrations. Reps with purpose. Skill Cards to show exactly what’s next. Micro-wins build momentum: nervous to go first? That’s Courage. Forgot your guard? Discipline. Fell and stood back up? Determination. The mat is a classroom; the Warrior Keys are the lesson plan.
