About Robert Rhodes Architecture + Interiors

Shortlisted for the 2025 Building Design Magazine AYA Awards "Interior Architect of the Year." Winner of the 2024 British Homes Awards "Best Interior Design: Individual Home (under £500,000)". Officially born in December 2009, RRA+I is a London-based studio of AIA, ARB and RIBA architects. We are motivated by our love of old buildings, our drive for authenticity, and our belief that regeneration - even on the scale of the individual building - is an essential element to a sustainable future. We believe that conservation is the essence of sustainability, but we also believe that environmental conscientiousness is as much about doing things properly as it is about frugality. We believe architecture is about making simple, useful, meaningful and beautiful places and things. "...the unreasoned joy of the simple correspondence of appearance and reality... the evident rightness of things as they are, seen clearly." - Michael Benedikt, author of "For an Architecture of Reality" We have a considered portfolio of careful interventions intended to enhance the lives and the environment of all who experience them. We have a particular interest in the city, and a particular focus on residential projects, listed building works, regeneration, commercial renovation, interiors, and small-scale development.
