About Rockingham Media CIC - Rockingham Radio

Rockingham Media CIC is a community interest company and its first project is Rockingham Radio which is an internet-based radio station created to give local communities a opportunity to share their message and air their music through volunteer presenters and community engagement opportunities. More radio stations are being swallowed up by the "big three" media corporations and losing their connectivity with the local community. Rockingham Radio is aiming to stem that flow by introducing a simple-to-use interface and delivering media skills training (currently via web-based interface) to enable people from all backgrounds to gain new skills, experience and confidence through their involvement with the radio station
