About Roscommon Sports Partnership

Roscommon Sports Partnership is dedicated to promoting the development of sport and physical activity within County Roscommon. Established in 2002 as part of Sport Ireland's Local Sports Partnership Initiative, our mission is to increase participation across all demographics, with a focus on groups such as older adults, women, individuals with disabilities, and those in disadvantaged communities. We offer a diverse range of programs tailored to various community needs, including: Community Programmes: Cycling, walking, open water swimming, and more. Youth Initiatives: Cycle Right, summer camps, and multi-sport activity days. Programmes for Older Adults: Go For Life and Let's Get Active/Stay Active. Educational and Training Workshops: Safeguarding and coaching courses. Inclusive Sports Activities: Woodlands for Health and Learn To Cycle. Our vision is to foster increased participation, improved success, and healthier lifestyles throughout the county.
