About Ross Community Foundation

The Ross Community Foundation was born from a bold vision in 2021: to create a lasting source of support for the people of Ross. Inspired by their love for the community, longtime residents Martha and Dana Mehl partnered with the Hamilton Community Foundation to bring that vision to life. As Hamilton Community Foundation’s first affiliate, the Ross Community Foundation launched in 2022 with access to trusted philanthropic expertise and a dedicated, all-volunteer board of local leaders. In just its first year, the Foundation raised over $500,000 for the Ross Community Impact Fund, an unrestricted fund designed to meet the evolving needs of the community, now and in the future. Since its founding, the Foundation has granted tens of thousands of dollars to local organizations, supported nonprofit education, and continued to grow through the ongoing Community Harvest Campaign. Every donor helps shape Ross’s future through unrestricted giving or by creating a fund that reflects their personal passion. We are neighbors helping neighbors, committed to giving where we live, growing what we give, and granting with purpose.
