About Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy

The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy was chartered on November 30, 2009, under the mentorship of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy and the leadership of Charter President Rtr. PP Jagadeesan. Rooted in the values of Rotaract, the club has since served as a vibrant platform for young individuals to lead with purpose, grow through service, and make a tangible difference in society. Originally part of Rotary International District 3201, which covered regions across Tamil Nadu and Kerala, the club now thrives under the newly formed Rotary International District 3206 following the district’s bifurcation. This shift has enabled a more focused engagement with the communities of Coimbatore and Palakkad. With a strong base of 30+ active members and 4 District Trainers, our club continues to embody the Rotaract motto “Fellowship through Service.” From inclusive initiatives like the Indian Para Cricket League and Aasan to innovative projects such as Vanchi, Abled Covai Trophy, Gaalaxy Unavagam, and Petti Kadai, our work spans diverse areas including social entrepreneurship, sports, inclusion, hunger relief and more. Operating with an annual budget of ₹10–15 Lakhs, and supported by CSR partners, local bodies, and stakeholders, our efforts are grounded in sustainability and impact. More than a club, we are a force. A force that educates, empowers, and breaks barriers. We lead not for applause, but to create lasting change. As we journey ahead in Rotary International District 3206, we carry forward a legacy of 15+ years with the theme: Engage • Empower • Evolve. With every project and every step, we move closer to a world shaped by youth, led by action, and remembered for purpose-driven service.
