About Royal Female School of Art Foundation

The Royal Female School of Art Foundation (RFSA) is a London-based charity providing grants to educational and charitable organizations to support students pursuing arts and design. Its mission is to widen access to the arts, focusing on those facing financial hardship, cultural barriers, disabilities, or caring responsibilities in Greater London. The charity continues the legacy of the Royal Female School of Art (established in 1842), originally founded to provide employment opportunities for women in the arts. Trustees manage the charity’s historic funds and assets.
